Our current project is the development of a reliable CubeSat bus that can be used for data collection and imaging missions.

Previous Missions



SLU-01 Copper 

COPPER was the first spacecraft developed by the students at Saint Louis University. The primary objective was to take a spacecraft through the design, testing, launch and operations phase.

SLU-02 Argus

Argus was a collaborative project between SSRL and the Institute for Defense and Space Electronics (ISDE) at Vanderbilt University.



SLU Copper-2

COPPER-2 was a followup mission of COPPER 1 using a larger satellite. The goal of this mission was to determine the suitability of a small infrared camera for Earth observation.                                  


SLU Rascal-1

RASCAL is a two-spacecraft mission designed by St. Louis University to demonstrate key technologies for proximity operations and space situational awareness.
